Normally I don't write about these things.  However I've been following the Hounds since 1999 and have worked with and supported them during that whole time.  Even writing match reports for them.  So it pains me when I see the team going to hell in a hand basket due to simple little things that should be Marketing 101.

I watched the Stanley Cup playoffs, and it was really about the only Hockey I've watched this year.  It's not that I don't enjoy the sport, but I think the regular season is just to damn long.  The Playoffs, which only 16 teams make can last 1/3 of the regular season.  You have 4 series of up to 7 games against to win the silverware.

I didn't get to attend the last Riverhounds game, a three - three tie with the Harrisburg City Islanders by the way.  But as I read through the review of the game on the Steel Army fan board I wonder what happened.

It seems that  a parent complained about swearing in the Army's section which lead to security or maybe one on the front office coming ( Read more... )
