That's right, what you've been waiting for pictures from my sister's wedding. These were taken by my mom. I have no idea when we'll see the official photos. These aren't all the photos my mom took either. I just picked the ones I liked the best.

I finished my final jewelry project! I was pretty surprised I actually managed to get it done today. I thought I'd need another day at least. Apparently not. So, here's the finished whole deal.

Okay, metal working is a work out. I spent the whole class today pounding a texture into my piece and my arm is tired as hell. I also bashed my knuckles and fingers a few times, but that's not a shocker. Trying to hit the top of a metal tool while guiding the tip and watching where you're going is going to result in some misses ( Read more... )

Chicago is weird. On Thursday it was 81 degrees and now it's chilly, windy and cold. I am mildly annoyed at this.

In other news, I got to work on my next and final jewelry project. It's a big sculpture piece so I'm trying to spend more time out of class working on it. Have a picture of what it looks like just starting.

I finished it! My guitar is done! And graded. Even though my teacher and I both agreed that there was a lot I needed to fix up or could have done better, she loved how much effort I put into it and how hard I worked on it so I got an A ( Read more... )

Guys, guys, you'll never believe it. I actually did shit with my weekend instead of doing nothing which is what I usually do. I know it's shocking, but really I had to. After roughly three hours of non-stop work and fiddling, I've finished the Idiot's Delight bracelet I had in mind when I bought these rings and pliers. You guys get pictures of it! Also, yes, my wrist really is that small.
