I finished it! My guitar is done! And graded. Even though my teacher and I both agreed that there was a lot I needed to fix up or could have done better, she loved how much effort I put into it and how hard I worked on it so I got an A-.
I have to admit, it didn't turn out perfect. Putting it together really sort of got complicated and I dented it, and scratched it so it's not perfect but you know it's done and I'm proud of all the hard work I did for it. Now, crappy cellphone pictures!
Ta-da! Here it is in all its dented glory. When I drilled the holes for the guitar strings, I accidentally pressed too hard and so collapsed the dome shape of it. It was a silly mistake, really but these things happen. I tried to pop it back into place but yeah, didn't work. Anyway, here's the whole thing.

The body of the guitar. you can see how I drilled to put the wires in for the strings and so dented it. Still, I like the details, the brass and the cut out really worked just how I wanted them to.

The neck and head of the guitar. The wire for the strings was a little thick and so kept kind of bent and wouldn't lie straight for me. Still, I got the thing stringed. I antiqued the neck so it would be black like that. It makes the string stand out really nice.
