Jacoby is a very clean cat. I rarely need to bathe or brush him; apart from his ears and his teeth, he keeps himself immaculately groomed.

Sherry called me on Friday night and we talked for a ridiculously long time. It was awesome. We talked about all sorts of things, but a major topic was, of course, Gun-Hee getting disqualified for having a grey undercoat in one ring at that show back in August. And, actually, since I'm working in the bedroom right now, these same three are on the bed with me now. Patrick, Tessie and Gun-Hee are the "bed cats." Kylie actually prefers to sleep next to the bed, either on the golf bag, under the desk, or in the laundry basket.

Since he had a cold, I didn't give Gun-Hee a bath when we first brought him home. This is something I do with new cats or kittens because it makes them smell more "neutral" to the resident cats. I had Friday off, so he got his first bath first thing in the morning.
