veteran's day came and went
maybe it's too soon
but i really want to feel something
and even still
emotions are sparse and strange

love is
eating hamburgers
and kissing
without breath mints

there was no ceremony
and actualy
i walked into the wrong room
but then we were corrected
and we were in our own room

drinking on an empty stomach is one thing
drinking with a tired body is another
but i wanted to go so bad
so i found the energy to go to the wave
but my body didn't co-operate at all

( go figure )

it's funny how
everyone loves sex
and thinks about sex
and talks about sex
all the fucking time
but whenever a girl
(or guy for that matter)
is remotley sexual
he is outcast
and labeled a slut
or a homosexual
