and we were in our own room
or atleast it will be
i didn't carry lauren accross the threshold or anything. but i guess we arn't married or anything so it's okay? besides, the place isn't ours yet.
it had children's toys on the floor and crayola monsters on the walls. the carpet is blue and soft.
friday, we will come into the room again, but it will be empty. we don't have enough money for a bed so we might get sleeping bags and sleep on the floor for a week.
we're going to eat top roman noodles because i spent almost all of my money.
someone crank called lauren's phone this weekend. the strange thing is, they used the deaf relay service. so this black woman is like "have you recieved a tty relay call before?" and then she says "i want to stick my dick in you."
isn't that crude? i think it was some guy she used to date.
when we were in deleware we saw this guy, jason custard. lauren and he used to be friends back in the day. from what i gather, he's a rather egocentric prick. he looked like he wanted to be in the band, mooney suzzuki. he was all indie-rocker scenster and way too cool.
lauren spotted him at 7-11. she pulls over so i can jump out of the car and chase him down shouting "jason custard! i love your work! you are a genius! come meet my friends!"
and he recognised lauren. i'm sure he did! but he didn't say hi or anything. he just ran off to his car like he was embarassed and flattered all at once.
tom waits has a new record comming out. i'm not sure how i feel about it yet. of course, i havn't heard anything. go figure. but it could be cool. after all, les claypool and brain from primus are on the record. you can't beat that with a stick, can you? but still, can you really picture tom waits being modern? with turn tables? i'm afraid.
