welcome to my kitchen
as you can see things are kind of a mess
i hate to show it in this condition
but as of late i've been trying to put things to rest

these are some things i picked up in malta
i've been trying to get rid of them for years
but they're so goddamn cute, can you hold me to fault?
a battle against sentiments and tears

lets see if we cant turn
trinkets to trash
throw back some beers
and have some laughs

maybe you can help me
get some things off my chest and put some things down to rest
take my memories down off all the shelfing
so i don't feel quite so depressed

it takes up space
and belongs in the past
so let's tear it down
and paint it black

between the dancing cork screws and novelty oversized shoes
you'd think i'd be full of cheer
but these things got to go now that we are thru
we got to make room for the new year
