Had the most terrifying experience last night...

My office is on the top floor of the building, and the rain is pouring down on the skylights above me. I'm the only one here. Ah....so nice.

I saw JK Rowling speak at Harvard's commencement yesterday, and it was a great speech, although a bit on the heavy side. I wish she had spoken at my graduation!

I GOT THE JOB AT HARVARD!!!

wooot....

But some guy is trying to sue me right now, so that sorta puts a damper on things.

Well, so much for melodrama.

The day after my last post I got a call from Randstad, and for the next month I have an awesome temp job at Harvard! I get to wear jeans too...

Plus! Another photographer that I had contacted a few months ago is going to take me on as her assistant as well. Woot!

I didn't get the Harvard job. This is really frustrating. It's like two steps forward, and one step back. Or two steps forward and two steps back. Hopefully the meeting with the photographer today will go better and she'll take me on as her assistant.

I was one of two candidates left in the running for the job at Harvard, but since the other person had slightly more experience and was a little older, they offered the job to him/her. Damn, compared to how I felt a few days ago I feel a shit ton better. And yes, shit is still the word of the day.
The first day of work was good, and I also found out I have an interview for a job at Harvard in two weeks! Woooooot!
Yeah, so now I need to find a business suit.
