So, I had pretty heavy bleeding with clots yesterday from 6-10. I went to the ER around 7. I called the service and the OB's nurse was still in. I am considered a patient now that I have appointments with them. I actually had a 1pm yesterday with the educator ( Read more... )

I had a bright red gush yesterday afternoon. There was some slight tissue looking stuff in it, but it looked like normal period stuff. I was heart broken and just trudged out to my Dad's birthday dinner anyway. I just knew it was over. I hadn't told anyone in my family for this reason, so I put on a stiff upper lip and headed to Outback.

I got a call from Dr. S' (my normal doc) nurse.  It's official!  The hcg test results show me at 4 weeks since conception.  (At least, as of Wednesday.)  That makes sense as we had a little rendezvous on June 10.  It's kind of odd to know the actual date this baby was conceived.  I promise that, unlike my mother, I will never brag about this to the ( Read more... )

This week has been INSANE.  We found out at 10:30am that our dog has cancer.  I'm not really going into that here.  I need to be specific and ask the vet that will be treating him about the medicines he'll be on.  I shouldn't handle or be near urine or feces once he's on the chemo.  He said I should be able to still pet him and everything ( Read more... )

I'm pregnant.  I peed on 3 tests yesterday and the all came out positive.  I went to my normal doc today and had 5 vials of blood drawn.  We're changing my bp meds.  It's weird, she totally believed me when I said I was pregnant.  I don't even believe me.
