I felt quite a bit better today.

After sleeping more than nine hours last night, I spent the day with a roaring headache that is now mostly only an echo. But I did manage to get Sirenia Digest 153 hammered together. Then we headed out to my mom's in Leeds, and there was football and barbecue (and laundry).

We're back in Leeds tonight, because the ballgame tomorrow, Alabama vs. UL-Lafayette, starts at 11 a.m. And it was easier than getting up and driving in the morning. If today was better - and I suppose it was - that's mostly because I spent most of it t my mom's, eating barbecue and watching the Alabama/Arkansas State game while Spooky went shopping clothes shopping at the outlet mall.

Sunny and hot this morning, this almost afternoon. Currently, it's 87˚F, the heat index at 96˚F.

Yesterday, I wrote 1,013 words on "The Eldritch Alphabētos" - "Y is for Yog-Sothoth" and "Z in for Zoog." I began the alphabet way back on May 3rd, in Providence.

Yesterday was an idiotic day. There's no getting around that. In the end, after the internet went out and wouldn't come back on, we gave up and went out to Leeds to spend the night at my mother's.
