my intentions were to work tonight. between a funeral & a flight in 2 days, that ambition is gone. all i have are sad thoughts.

all this weekend i felt cold-blooded. even seeing my grandfather in his coffin struck no chord in me. i stuck by my logic: he was old, lived to a ripe old age, had periodic bouts with cancer.
