It's been HOT and sunny and rather awesome really. It was forecast to be up to 30˚C but seemed more like 27˚C. I went for a swim.

I had never seen the Ruapehu volcano with hardly any snow on it. It has been a very good long hot summer in NZ this year. Now Autumn is here, temps have fallen and last night brought the first snow of the new season to dust the skiing mountains.
