Mixed weather, freezing Friday night - so after the 5am jam finished I slept on the couch in Rumpy (the green room) with a Hottie. sunny but windy next 2 days. One of the marquees blew over, as did my tent. I was on stage 3 times thru Sunday and managed to catch up w old uni pal (who was passing driving north) off site too.

It was sunny on Friday when I took the train to Derby. However, when I changed trains at Leicester I realised I should have worn warmer clothes for going up-North... That became the theme of the weekend really as autumn seemed to turn to winter and temps dropped below 10˚C.

Another AFF survived and enjoyed. Camping back onsite with the Welly ppl was great again, although I did pop off-site in the car to go for a nice swim and a long shower at AONC each day and say hello to the gathering there over Auckland Anniversary weekend. I took no photo's ( Read more... )

Blimey. This Bonnaroo Music Festival 2007 (in the US), makes Cambridge Folk Fest look like chicken feed!

Mind you. I don't like big fests. But heck, The North Mississippi Allstars are playing! and some bloke called Richard Thompson.

Feeling... er.... a long way away from lots of wonderful live music...
