Te Rangi fest
Mixed weather, freezing Friday night - so after the 5am jam finished I slept on the couch in Rumpy (the green room) with a Hottie. sunny but windy next 2 days. One of the marquees blew over, as did my tent. I was on stage 3 times thru Sunday and managed to catch up w old uni pal (who was passing driving north) off site too.
After another 5am finish on monday in the rain I decided that was enough. Had a great time actually but 3 days is enough for me. Packed up wet tent by just shoving most of it in the passenger seat foot well. I managed to leave my tent bag w the poles and pegs behind under Denis's awning. D'Oh! Thankfully they are now en route to the next folk fest where i will reunite them hopefully on Friday evening. The café breakfasts up at the house are excellent and the new stables shower is very good :)
For the record, we sang: Verdi Cries, Bright Lights; (Jehrico) and Old Cricketer. Last year I think we only sang Who Knows WTTGoes (only one song allowed last year due to pressure of numbers).
