Mandatory update?

Halfway through my vacation and I finally feel like posting something. Probably best in bullet points.

While at the doctor's appointment I got a tetanus shot.

I really forgot how much it can make you arm hurt and your stomach upset and your vision blurry.

I stopped work at two o'clock.

And this morning my arm still hurts. It's not going to be a good day as we have to put up shelves in Bev's spare room today.

Everytime I go to Bev's house I bring one of my externals in order to backup her computer. So this time I decided to bring down the one which had some current work on it. Everything goes well and her computer is backed-up ( Read more... )

Bev's toilet has spring a small leak in the tank near one of the bolts. We decided to try and patch it till she can afford to have a plumber come in and do a "proper" repair. I have just finished the Foundation dataset. Two weeks of nothing else. Usually I have 6-12 items on my status report I turn in every week. This time, one item. It looks like I haven't done anything. I'm just glad my boss understands what a large project this was.

Last weekend had it's share of "labor" attached to it. It was a weekend Bev and I attended to a lot of things around her house.

1. Tearing down the structure for the climbing peas.
2. Moving, cleaning, and moving back tons of stuff in the basement.
3. Cutting back the two lavender bushes.

Due to a massive surge at work I was forced to change my cooking plans and make my sauce today. That means I won't get outside too much today as the sauce needs to simmer for four hours.
