I've never been known for someone good with building things. That's why I'm not that into home improvements. But I was charged with putting up shelves in Bev's sewing room. Okay, this shouldn't be that hard. I put up quite a few shelves in my pantry.
Oh how wrong I was.
Between constantly hitting struts or hitting oddly placed hard boards behind the drywall or drilling the 5/16" hoke as instructed only to find the type of anchor did not securely fit in and dropped out of sight...
Well, a job which should have been at best a couple hours turned into a weekend project.
This is one reason I like living in an apartment where if something goes wrong the maintenance guys come in and fix it...
I told Bev when we retire we're definitely renting...
