I was scouting around on the net (Wikipedia) to check some info of the type of Irises I had.  I learnt that the flower takes its name from the Greek word for a rainbow, referring to the wide variety of flower colours found among the many species of Irises.

As a kid, I vaguely remember a story I read, of a kid and dandelion.  Something to do with the kid blowing the dandelion and being able to tell the time of the day…. something to that effect.  Have been trying to recollect it, but am getting no where.  Does anyone remember a story like that?

Had taken Elsa to the Park where there are a couple of bare trees.  This one tree caught my attention.  It has these vibrant coloured young leaves budding out of its aged bark; otherwise it was a completely bare tree.  There were a couple of them growing at the foot of the tree too.

The onset of spring is such a beautiful time of the year.  Just like how I enjoyed watching the transformation of the trees during fall and winter, I am enjoying the freshness that spring is bringing along with it.  After a long time, I didn’t have to wear a jacket out anymore.
