Last night when we were making dinner, our Red Tail Hawk swooped in and landed on the back of one of our deck chairs. By the time Jim called me and I grabbed the camera, he had hopped along the deck rail and was sitting on one of the chairs closer to the house. ...or sail, for that matter.  Anything that gets me off of solid ground.  I love that moment when the plane is rumbling like its going to shake itself apart as it races down the runway - and then the wheels leave the ground and you just shift into another world.  I love being just above a cloud bank with blue sky above and nothing but fluffy white ( Read more... )
