Last night when we were making dinner, our Red Tail Hawk swooped in and landed on the back of one of our deck chairs. By the time Jim called me and I grabbed the camera, he had hopped along the deck rail and was sitting on one of the chairs closer to the house. As I tried to maneuver myself around to get some kind of shot, he swooped back off into the trees and out of sight.

If I had been quicker with my camera, I could have shown you a picture - and if I'd been online more last night, I could have told you sooner - but it was excellent, nonetheless!
