Hot here--expected to hit 100 this afternoon. But this morning, Jubilee and I went and did some rally run-thrus. We're entered in a trial in Fishersville, VA, this weekend--Novice B. Haven't shown in AKC since around 1998--when I put a CD on Jubilee's grandmother, Frost. Been a while! Jubilee's never seen a dog show before--hopefully it won't blow ( Read more... )

This is what I am going to be teaching Jubilee and Hunter next. I've been doing similar work, with a concrete block, with Lynx and Oda, for agility training. In their case, I'm working toward teaching them 2-on/2-off for agility contact foundation training (so they will end up with 2 feet on and 2 feet off an obstacle ( Read more... )

Friday, I drove the 3 hrs to Smithfield, VA, in, lo! 3 hours! I got to Terri's around 8:15 pm and hopped dogs out for quick walkies and re-situated everydoggy in crate or kennel as appropriate.
