I gave Jake my bed last night and slept on the couch as a courtesy for making him stay up so late last night. Loaves of bread are baking in the oven. I have just eaten whole grain five cheese blend pierogies as a late night snack (yes, those are a thing, as are sweet potato pierogies and four cheese blend, when five cheeses just seem like too many). Time keeps on ticking toward our inevitable 200 mile ride on Saturday. We all got one step closer to it during the first packet pick-up day today (advanced pick-up continues through Friday at REI).
