The official weather site says cooler and pleasant today.  It didn't even cool off at night.  Supposedly it cooled off to 65 degrees F.  I think they measured that in an air-conditioned room.

I gave the kittens baths today.  Except for Peetski (Tiny, the runt), they were not impressed.  Peetski thought he was in heaven.  This means I should have started giving them baths earlier, when they were young enough to accept it as an extension of the usual mothering.  Darn. Sweetie is sitting on my lap, letting me hold her belly and feel the babies kicking. Sweet! She still jumps down in one leap from the buffet to go to her food dish rather than take the less jarring route down by the sofa. A "mreow" kind of pushes out of her as she lands. We went to the hospital yesterday. The doctor Ya hates traveled to the States to be with his dad, who is very sick. So she just did the blood tests and ultrasounds.
