Yesterday my step-son's wife and daughter came to visit. They invited Y to stay the night with them. He and Ni get along much better since Ni doesn't live close anymore. They have great fun together.
The ex's mom went to the emergency room yesterday. So far there is no word as to what is going on with her. R and Sn have come to stay the weekend, though. So A spent the day at Aunt B's playing with the cousins.
I haven't heard back from the site B told me about, but I took a look around as a non-member. I don't like the artwork. It gives me the creeps. I guess it is not really art, but graphics. No soul.
I did finally get a clear answer from SS and will have some help from them. It is a huge relief. I can mail a letter. I can pay the phone bill. Even though it is not a lot, for me it will make a big difference in quality of life. I feel much more hopeful and positive.
As the daughter of middle class parents and an idealist, I was always scornful of the idea that money should make any difference in a person's life. Unfortunately when one has far below the average income, it does make a difference.
I am also able to, and have requested help in rehabilitation. I don't know how long it will take to get an answer.
