I'm back from BOW! On Thursday we left late haha and drove to Wasilla. The weather was sunny and gorgeous the whole way down. Mt. McKinley was AWESOME..it always is, but definitely up close haha. I'm baaaack. On Thursday we drove to Wasilla. The weather was AMAZING. I have NEVER seen the mountains look that beautiful before. It was sunny the whole way down. There were many awesome views of McKinley. Usually it's covered with clouds when we drive by it but not this time. That is one incredible mountain. Today I worked for a few hours and then around noon mom picked me up and started driving. We had lunch at The Monderosa (near Nenana). When we went over the Tanana River bridge at Nenana we saw the tripod for the Nenana Ice Classic in the river ice! Yay haha. Drove home today..Jackie was in Anchorage with her daughter (they're gonna take the train to Seward and go on a glacier cruise) so we met up with them and hung out for a little bit. It rained from Seward to Anchorage..apparently the coast is always rainy (and snowy in the winter) like that..ugh (well..it is what makes the glaciers haha. I wonder ( Read more... )
