I am now back home! The last few days of the vacation were busy, but so much fun. On Friday before the game we drove up to the college (UC Irvine) to scope it out so we knew what we were doing before the game lol (it wasn't far from the hotel, maybe 10-15 minutes away). Wowww..today was absolutely gorgeous. It was sunny and actually got into the 70s again!! I had a GORGEOUS view of the mountains this morning. We had to sit by the river of course haha..gotta soak up the heat before winter. :P Fairbanks has some of the best summer weather I've seen..

The glacier hike is a go. :D Yay!

This summer is the COMPLETE opposite of last summer..warm (though we did have some warm days last summer like on the solstice and the 4th of July), dry, hardly any storms and rain, huge fires..woww. Even if the Wood River fire advances toward Fairbanks we have the Tanana River as a natural barrier and it could be hard for the fire to get over it ( Read more... )

I had another counseling appointment today..we went and sat by the river and talked (her office is rather close to it). It was sooooo nice and warm omg.
