Yesterday I learned that Marjorie, my landlady of almost ten years, had passed away. I just saw her last week and she seemed fine, so it must have been sudden. I was so surprised and sad..she was always so nice and we had good conversations about cats and stuff lol. Yesterday I was at home when all of a sudden I heard screeching tires and then a HUGE bang..I went to the balcony and saw a couple cars and people, but there was a tree blocking most of my view. Today I had my annual apartment inspection (they check to see if the fire alarms still work and stuff). Yesterday when I got to Southall (the apartment place) Marjorie showed me around..I saw the meeting area, kitchen, etc. Then she showed me my apartment. It's a rather nice size for one person..I think it's bigger than Dana's haha. We inspected it and made sure everything worked.
