It took me a week to gather all of those samples, a week, and they just disappear?! How am I supposed to get any sort of reconnaissance from that! This place...seems almost familiar, though I know I have not been here before. A new Nexus world, perhaps? As well as....persons I have certainly seen before. This warrants more investigation..hm.

These events always seem to end before I want them to. There wasn't nearly enough time to determine the chemical composition of that substance those birds were shooting at us. This Island is truly most unaccommodating.

..Except with new residents, of course.

Fascinating. These creatures seem to have a crude form of sentience. Not too unlike those in the Pride Lands, actually, though without a stronger magic it really can't be investigated much further than this.

If any of you dislike yours, I would be happy to take them off your hands. The value of such study is inestimable.

First Objective completed. I've gained a job and access to the local pharmacy, enough to keep me alive, at any rate. My revised first objective will be moving. There are bugs in this place...and I can't deal with that for much longer.
