I was sprung from work early Friday  so I got to catch up on some small things around the house before going to meet Lori-O and Lonelydumptruck at Killjoy for drinks and snacks.  They both ordered the salad ($5 for a caesar salad the size of a dinner plate!) and I got baked brie to share.

It's been an exciting Spring/Summer so far.  We've had record-highs and very little rain, which led to huge amounts of dust, record pollen counts and now three massive wildfires.  Needless to say, the air quality is for shit.  I've been having to use my inhaler regularly for the first time in almost 10 years.

Killjoy Tasting Room!

This is a new little place downtown, right around the corner from Cyrano's.  It's nearly a hole in the wall.  I tried to go a couple weeks ago, but  it was after rehearsal so I was just there for the food and they had to close their kitchen early due to construction on the block.

Friday night we had a pretty good audience for the show and taped after, which made for a long day.
