Sewing Progress
The rose heart necklace has a finished centerpiece now, flanked by a pair of Tudor roses. This would have happened faster except that first I made the central rose motifs inside-out, then I attached one of the roses backwards so it was too high on the heart and had to cut it off and start over. Shawl Done!
Stick a spork in me - the shawl embroidery is done! Wow, that was a lot of embroidery...and yet oddly it took about the same time as any one of the embroidered wedding gown elements (ie. corset, or both sleeves, or both shoes). Go figure ( Read more... ) -
