I fell into our xmas tree.  More accurately, I tripped. You see I was handing something to a kid (Q-11, it's all his fault) and then I took a step back because I was done, only the pirate dog was right behind me, right at knee level, and I simply had no other option, I fell over her and crushed the bottom half of our tree ( Read more... )

That's how long my nephew was out here before he broke his arm.  Just in time for the in-laws wedding.

He broke both bones in his right arm and the bones went through the skin.  Because I thought it would be fun to take the in-laws kids to a trampoline place.  This is why I'm not allowed to take them to Subway.  Fuck.

My dad's birthday is on Father's Day.  Do I send him a card or not?  I haven't seen or talked to him since T-9's birthday in February.  He takes these birthday things very seriously and will be grievously offended if I don't.

My mom lives in a town house with 3 other units.  The other 3 units are very similar in design, small fronts, two-stories and a basement, small backyard.  However, when my parents moved in before the divorce (35 years ago), they got the end unit.  Now the end unit was designed by the builder it was supposed to be his home so he could be the ( Read more... )

I got an update tonight about my uncle who was just diagnosed with throat cancer.  It's Human papillomavirus and I was very surprised to learn that.  For some reason, I thought HPV was just cervical cancer.

What's even more odd is that my paternal grandfather -uncle's dad - died at the same age from the same thing -- throat cancer.  I don't know if ( Read more... )
