I've been playing ping-pong with a document for three days now, which has prevented me from getting work I want to get done finished. This is not the first time. But when it comes to track changes, I tend to hear one of two things from people.

So, I'm trying to install Structure 2.2.3 on my mac. And I'm following their instructions. But my *nix is rusty (as I haven't used it regularly in ~8 years) and I can't install it. When I ./install, it gives me a
mkdir: /usr/local/Structure/: Permission denied

I tried to chmod 777 local, and I got
chmod: local: Operation not permitted

I'm especially thrilled they have as much rural and back-country coverage at the resolution they do.
