Meaningful May: It's Important to Me

May 07, 2024 21:26

This morning I decided to list again the things that matter to me the most:
1) My Christian faith, trusting in Jesus while not turning scarily fanatical;
2) Volunteering with Stag Walkers, hoping I can make a difference;
3) My job, keeping it stable and showing that I am capable;
4) Taekwon-do; showing that I can keep doing better, and keep learning;
5) Getting out and enjoying life, rather than staying at home - I've been out for a couple of walks today, which was really nice;
6) Good friendships with others, who want to do stuff with me, and who I don't feel sidelined by.

Next month apparently is the start of "Movement Month" at work, and we have to fill in a kind of bingo card; I'm going to see how I do. Sorry, this isn't the clearest image of it, taken from my laptop screen.

On Strava, I have:
* Completed Week 2 of the Nike Move With Us Challenge;
* Logged 7 days for BUXTON Active in May Challenge. and May Ten Days Active Challenge;
* Logged 28 miles for The Arc'teryx Run Free Challenge (in reality it's probably more like 23);
* Logged 2 of 3 activities for Week 1 of the May Streak Chsllenge; and
* Climbed 408m for the May Running Elevation Challenge (this may also be a little inaccurate).
