1. What is your current main mode of transportation? e.g. car, bike, subway, walking, etc.
For me, a combination of walking and getting the train.
2. Are you satisfied with your current main mode of transportation (answer to question 1)? Why?
Generally, yes - trains tend to be easy to catch, and walking is reliable, and doesn't rely on a schedule.
3. Do you think you'll change your means of transit soon? e.g. buy a car, get rid of your car, walk more etc.? If so, why?
No plans to learn to drive a car, or get a bike, so probably no.
4. If time, distance and money were not factors, how do you prefer to get from point A to point B?
I'd probably walk; I'd get the freedom.
5. What was your worst transit experience?
Other people have been the cause of many problems on the trains, mostly invading my space. It might sound harsh, but I often get more worked up if I'm in a seat and a person without a seat invades my personal space. Thus, I've had a woman crowd between my seat and the one in front of me, stopping me from even pulling down the mini table in front of me, and once on a plane a man decided to sit on my armrest while waiting for the toilet, long enough for me to be staring daggers.
Or bad delays that caused us to miss or almost miss connections; I've had a few dashes through airports on trips home, one time after the pilot of the plane that delayed us gave no good excuse for the fact that we'd been late.
Or long queues for passport control at Johannesburg airport once, with my Dad arguing with a family who pushed in front of us.
