Happier January: Eternal Sunshine of the Outdoor Mind

Jan 09, 2024 17:29

A nice day for once, as I walked to the dentist this morning; I ended up getting my teeth X-rayed.

I also had a walk with Mum this afternoon, and these got delivered to my flat (another delivery person who knocks, and then disappears by the time I've made the five-second walk to the door).

I took them out in the afternoon during a break from my work, and practiced my badminton swing in the garden. My hit rate was a little better, but I still missed the shuttlecock a few times.

On Strava, I have:
* Logged 3 hours for the Le Col Project 24 Challenge;
* Logged 2 of 3 activities for Week 2 of the January Streak Challenge;
* Climbed 662m for the January Running Elevation Challenge; and
* Logged 17 hours and 17 minutes for the January Fresh Start Challenge.

I'm really glad that Season 4 of What We Do in the Shadows is finally here, and enjoyed it, though hoping Colin won't be done in special effects form for the whole season.

I realised a dream I had a couple of years ago about Season 4 had some surprising accuracies regarding the plot:
...he had to look after the reborn Colin Robinson, who was now a five year old boy.
