Does anyone have a tried and tested recipe for waffles? I've got a new electric 3-in-1 snack maker (toasted sandwich, panini press, and waffles) and there needs to be waffles this weekend!

The temperatures are getting a wee bit warm this week, about 29°C today and over 30° tomorrow, which brings up the usual question: what on earth do I make for tea? I do not want to put the oven on! I happened to mention on Twitter earlier on that I'd made a white chocolate and raspberry pie/tart for tea. I underestimated the amount of interest there would be in this (i.e. any) and so following numerous demands for photos and the recipe (i.e. some), here it is. I got some peanut butter so I was able to make cookies this afternoon. It really is such a simple recipe, it took me about an hour all in to make and cook them. I took photos while I was making them so I can demonstrate the recipe for you all à la Blue Peter.
