It was World Down Syndrome Day today and they encourage people to wear colourful mismatched socks to raise awareness. I tend to wear plain black socks for work although I wear colourful socks at home so I was very happy about that. I was rather less happy about wearing odd socks though, it was very difficult to do! There's a couple of minor corrections. He's pronouncing 'gradely' wrong though, it's grade to rhyme with shade, not grad to rhyme with sad. And baggin is a packed lunch, specifically when taken to work, so ' ( Read more... )

The past few weeks I've been doing the German course on Duolingo on Friday mornings. So far it's been pretty good but as I'm progressing further through it, it seems to be getting increasingly bizarre.
