Trendsetter
Amusing incident while shopping this morning.
Picture the scene: I'm in the biscuit aisle, trying to decide between Fox's Red Velvet Crunch Creams or peanut butter Oreos when a random woman who is nearby speaks to me.
Random Woman: Well, that's an efficient use of time! *nods towards my hands*
I'm holding a shopping list, written on the back of an old envelope, a mini Sharpie which is usually attached to my keyring and, oh yes, a thermal mug of coffee.
Me: *grins* Oh, I have to have my coffee!
RW: I would never have thought of that!
Me: Well, now you can do it next time.
RW: Yes! And I'll think of you!
I am such a bad influence. Odds of me seeing her again next week are slim - although not uncommon where I live, especially if she tends to shop at that time. It would be amusing if I do see her again and if I have inspired her to start taking her own coffee :)
