(no subject)
Considering this has been the first week of my summer holiday, it's been a rather busy one. I spent the weekend doing some freelance design work for a friend which was most unexpected but hopefully will look very good on my CV. I spent most of Monday in the garden, trimming the hedge with shears (fun!) and putting in some new plants that we got last week. I spent some time today in the garden as well, this time mowing the lawn, deadheading plants and working out what plants we still need to get. I also had a look at all the cds/dvds of my step-fathers that are still up on Amazon Marketplace; I need to go through them all properly and see which ones are worth keeping on there and which to get rid of. I think Tuesday was the only day where I had a rest!
Tomorrow I have an appointment at 9.30 so I have a list of errands to do while I'm out. And on Friday, I have to go into college to pick up all my work. There'll be quite a bit: 2 sketchbooks, two A2 storyboards, 3 signs, 1 building model and a bag of smaller models of letters. I think I'll have a job getting all that on the bus, I might be better off driving in instead. Hopefully, there'll be plenty of room to park seeing as a lot of the students will have finished now. Maybe next week I'll be able to relax a bit.
