I was talking to my husband about a boy at school who has a reputation for being a bully. I was saying what an angelic face this boy has. And my husband responded, "So he doesn't look like a sterotypical bully -- not like a Crabbe or Goyle."

Dips in the freezer aside, you've got to love a man who can stick a Harry Potter reference into everyday

My husband stuck a dip he made in the freezer because it was too runny and then was surprised when it froze.

It's not as if he stuck it in the dip-thickening cabinet. What did he expect a freezer to do?

For our Thirteenth Wedding Anniversary (this coming Monday), the Admiral suggested what he called a 'not very romantic' date of going to see the new Star Trek movie this Saturday (he won't be home Monday).

Well, after putting ConTessa to bed last night, I took a much needed shower. I don't usually like late night showers because I don't like to blow dry my hair all the way, and I don't like to go to bed with a wet head. I was in such need, though, that I did it. My health seemed to take a turn for the worse today -- probably because of the drop in temperature and another late night for no good reason. The Admiral has off tomorrow, but the big kids still have school. I know he wants to 'get things done around the house.' (Of course, it's never the things I want done, but that's another story) -- I'm hoping that I just get a few minutes to myself to write that aren't after everyone's gone to bed and my brain is too much mush to work.
