Today at work I was trying to fix a radio tuner. I believed that a wire from the power in to the transformer was damaged. Writing what I did next would be long and in hindsight stupid on my part so I'll cut to the chase. With the unit plugged in and turned on at the wall I managed to make myself one with the circuit.
