Perhaps we'll have to add Chautauqua, Letchworth, and Palenville to the list of possible sites for the wedding, after all....

It looks like the fast ferry might not be dead, after all. I regretted its absence when we drove down to Washington for Eric's wedding, and Peri wants to use it to come to visit us more often. It would have been extra-special sparkly nice for it to be running in time for our trip to apc12, but that doesn't look like it will happen.

The boat is now off the front porch and on the trailer! I rewired the trailer, built bunks of the right size and shape. It fit on the first try, and the converted Y-Flyer trailer that I'm using is just the right length for the boat to balance well, with not much tongue weight but enough to keep the trailer on the hitch.
