Just heard back from Patient Access Network. Rob's income is too high for me to qualify. I'm not totally surprised, but I am disappointed.

Rob and I paid $998 to pick up my Enbrel last week. That's the normal amount (actually lower than normal) that I can expect to pay for Enbrel after falling in to the "coverage gap" in prescription drug insurance, which will happen after $2,500 next year (which is slightly less than 2 months' worth of Enbrel). I've just enrolled online to Bravo Rx I prescription plan. During the enrollment process, I found out that I can only be enrolled in one prescription plan, and that if I'm enrolled in a Part D plan that has prescription drug coverage and then enroll in a prescription plan my enrollment in the Part D plan gets terminated. I've been getting random itchy patches on my skin. I hope these are just skin irritations and not hives. If I'm becoming allergic to Enbrel, I will scream. I really will.

My pharmacy just called and told me that the Enbrel issue has been resolved! MHIP will pay for a month's worth of Enbrel after all. Apparently, whoever dealt with my prescription last week didn't know what they were doing. So, tomorrow I'll be going out to pick up my Enbrel.

So, my insurance company is once again giving me trouble regarding refilling my enbrel. This time, they're refusing to refill it until after the 23rd. Which would be fine, if my last refill hadn't only been for one week. The pharmacy is going to call my insurance company and yell at them again, but this is starting to get ridiculous.
