So, my insurance company is once again giving me trouble regarding refilling my enbrel. This time, they're refusing to refill it until after the 23rd. Which would be fine, if my last refill hadn't only been for one week. The pharmacy is going to call my insurance company and yell at them again, but this is starting to get ridiculous. On top of all that, my PCP's office feels that they are not capable of arguing with my insurance about enbrel since my PCP is not the doctor treating me for my juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. This complicates things, as I have a feeling that my insurance will not be willing to talk to my rheumatologist since he's not the one who wrote the prescription.
In other news, I found out this morning that my grandmother has been in the hospital since Saturday night with pneumonia. One of the most annoying things about living several states away from my family is that people forget to tell me things. I got a call in December from Pa letting me know that my cousin's wife had her baby. Unfortunately, no one had bothered to tell me that she was pregnant in the first place! I do hope that Grandma will be okay, though.
Rob's home early today, so I think this will be all for now. This entry brought to you by Dragon NaturallySpeaking.
