The Mystery Virus has been lurking about all week, although today I feel pretty ok (for the moment). Well, the g-d and boyfriend turned up at about 9 pm yesterday, having suffered only about an hour's delay on the train. They did have to walk about half a mile, from Holloway, and appeared looking very rosy-cheeked and seasonal. I needn't have worried about getting in to work today - Transport for London has pulled all London bus services. Looking out of the window, there seems to be several inches of snow, and hardly any traffic, and it's still falling quite hard. Sod this, I'm going back to bed.

After accidentally ruining several of my tops by washing them with a purple shirt and then idiotically trying to remove the stains by soaking them in dilute bleach and forgetting about them, I felt compelled to replace them with something more suitable for work, so yesterday I headed up to Oxford Street. I spend a lot of time travelling by bus. Preferably, I sit on the upper deck, which is less crowded and gioves one an interestingly detached perspective on the street below.
