I'm saving the planet
not literally, of course, and on a very small scale. I'm riding my bike to work. I live about 3 miles away from where I work on Offutt, so when I bought a bike a few weeks ago, I did so with the specific purpose of riding to work.

the changing of times
so, as I like to do every now and then, I read back through my old LJ entries and felt a certain nostalgia. Thank God livejournal doesn't delete old ones. there's actually entries in there of parts in my life that I would really miss if they went away. it inspired me to come back - or at least make another entry ( Read more... ) -
I got drunk and signed up for a savings account
I have to be one of the most responsible people I know, just based on that. most rational, exciting people will get hammered, and do something crazy like incite a riot, or try to build a time machine. Me? I do stuff like sign up for checking accounts, volunteer to work at an orphanage ( Read more... ) -

I've always loved my livejournal, just because, sometimes, I can take a look back on my life and see where I was at a specific point in time. That, combined with all the pictures I take, is a great way to remember what I did when I was young, and how great everything really was ( Read more... ) -
