I'm attempting to get back into the habit of writing.  It seems that the moments when writing make the most sense to me are those moments when the house is the quietest. Late in the evening, when the boys are in bed, and I'm plugging away at the computer, or on Sunday morning when they're still sleeping and my wacky bio-clock pushes me out of that ( Read more... )

I just happened to notice that my blog posting statistics have revealed that I have posted over 3,500 entries in this journal. Admittedly a good bit of that over the last few months is from Twitter, but the vast majority of it is from me actually taking the time to write something meaningful (or trite) off the top of my head ( Read more... )

I'm currently teaching a class at the library about blogging. So, people are watching this as I type.

Just as soon as I've changed it, I've gone and changed it again. The main problem with the other layout was that it was too narrow. Anyway, I've switched instead to something a bit cleaner. So, check it out. It's pretty nice. It's got a tree on it. :)

So, it's official. I've created a blog for my branch of the library. There's all of one post, and I had to labor and think on what the first post should be. I opted for Emancipation day, and it's short, sweet, and linky. The color scheme matches the branch as well, which is kind of cool.
