I'm really only taking this moment to say: women have been having babies for longer than ANY doctor spent in medical school.

Okay, I'm taking a course at uni called "Sociology of Reproduction", and there I am exposed to all the horrors of the biological processes involved in reproduction.  The lecturers are very good and and do an excellent job of keeping the horrific parts from being scarring.

All the same, this subject was further cementing my desire to never have kids.

My sister, my brother-in-law, and my very cute nephew all came down to Hobart from Melbourne a few weeks ago to catch up and to share said nephew's birthday party.  He just turned two.  Very cute sprog.

We just got the news that "Pearl" is due in November.  My nephew is going to be a big brother.

I've been suffering from the days blurring into one another.  I've submitted my last assignment for the semester.  Now it's all about study for exams.  then spring school so I can get psychology 1 completely out of the way, cause they're changing the course deal next year.  My local university is NOT friendly to their mid-year intake.  I figure ( Read more... )
