i fished something out of the pool today.

at first i thought it was just a really big frog, since they get those a lot (my parents live backed up against a wildlife refuge, so frogs take refuge(?) in their pool all the time).

but no. it was actually a DEAD RABBIT.

that was a new one on me.

as much as i love fall, the problem with this season is that places of business all have very different ideas on what temperature to keep their buldings. school was fairly comfortable. the MBTA bus i rode was as well. the subway was roasting. - my relationship with coraline. way more details there than i have time to type, but it included a lovely walk in perfect weather to dinner last night.

so, my birthday party was excellent. there was a mod rock / classic rock dance party in the staff rec room, where we have a bar and a dart board and a ping-pong table. i stayed up too late, drank too much, and then had to work at 8am the following morning :)
