my ridiculousness, let me show you it
things that were ridiculous about my weekend, in mostly good ways:
- my relationship with coraline. way more details there than i have time to type, but it included a lovely walk in perfect weather to dinner last night.
- beating the Endless Setlist on Rock Band with fennel, in five hours with no song failures. (that includes beating Green Grass And High Tides on Expert for the first time, EVER). eta: and in other Rock Band news, getting to go to the RB2 release party courtesy of Harmonix employee badlittlemonkey (who reminds me in comments of how long ago Friday feels like this morning).
- discovering that one of my email accounts at NEU isn't properly forwarding to the other, prompting my advisor to ask me in group meeting today whether or not i was receiving his emails. turned out the answer was "no".
- forgetting to catch up on things like email, livejournal, and facebook for over 24 hours between friday noon-ish and saturday around 9pm, meaning i missed quite a lot of momentous stuff in y'all's lives.
- playing something like three straight hours of Civ Saturday night.
- a really amazing school-related opportunity that has dropped itself in my lap; nothing is confirmed yet and i don't want to totally jinx it, but more details will be forthcoming eventually i promise.
today's To-Do list has been completely rewritten. and now that i have something of a handle on things, i should eat lunch and then tackle it.
