Last minute prep. Mom and Dad did indeed buy me a shiny new camera - it's a Nikon L15 digital camera, we got it on sale for a decent price, and it seems pretty dang cool to me. It's not very big, but it's not one of the tiny ones, because it runs on double As rather than lithium. And just as well - easier to travel with. So I'm hooked up for camera ( Read more... )

It's pouring out. It has been since Saturday. I took Mingus out for a walk just now, and came back soaked to the skin wherever I wasn't covered with plastic or canvas, or whatever my things are made out of.
